Physicians’ Counsel, L.L.C. (the “Firm”) was created as a joint venture in the State of Florida between the law firms of Kern Augustine Conroy & Schoppmann, P.C. and The Health Law Firm. These combined law practices provide Florida physicians with one of the largest legal practices in the country dedicated to the representation of healthcare professionals. The Firm’s principals and senior counsel include attorneys with many years of experience addressing the unique aspects of Florida’s healthcare laws. They have devoted their professional careers to representing healthcare professionals in their business and professional endeavors, and in defending them when the need arises.

Physicians’ Counsel provides representation to physicians before Florida and Federal regulatory agencies and in hospital privileges disputes. It also offers a full range of Healthcare law services including representation of physicians in commercial, contractual and transactional matters, regulatory compliance, employer-employee relationships, tax and pension issues, asset protection, disputes with managed care companies/health plans, and health care related criminal and general litigation. The Firm also provides comprehensive services to assist Florida physicians meet the demands of the Office of Inspector General’s Small Physician Practice Compliance Guidance, Fraud and Abuse laws and HIPAA regulations.
